    The main task of this work was to study reiations between uptake of 2,4-dichiorophenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D), an important tooi of sornatic embryogenesis induction, zygotic embryo pre-treatment and injury, that were found as increasing the subsequent induction of embryogenic cultures. The seeds were pre-treated in dark at 4 C under sterile distilied water for 0, 3, 5 and 7 days. The uptake of 14C-2, 4-D was significantly higher after 7 days treatment. The way of injury (division) ofzygotic embryos also modified uptake of 14C-2, 4-D to zygotic embryo and its parts. Results showed that the fastest shift of 14C-2,4-D into radicles (both intact and separated) was aligned with nearly none embryogenic cultures induction. On the contrary the Iowest uptake of 2,4-D into cotyledonary part was aligned with the highest number of achieved cultures. Hypocotyls showed intermediate results in both parameters.
