It was proved that tularaemia is a classical disease of natural foci occurrence and remains in areas of suitable conditions. Sensitive hosts such as the hare are one of the most important factors. Overcrowded hare populations create suitable conditions for the spread of the disease under natural conditions and can be a source of infection for the man.
