Original language description
A geographic information system has been used for the analysis of ecological conditions of distribution of natural foci of tularaemia and brucellosis in the European hare (Lepus europaeus) and their long-term persistence in the Czech Republic. A new variable (xt and b), i.e., the mean number of natural foci of tularaemia and brucellosis, respectively, in a specific area, has been suggested for the evaluation of diseases occurring in natural foci. The European hare is a reservoir host of Francisella tularensis as well as Brucella suis biotype 2 in the Czech Republic. There are lower numbers of natural foci of brucellosis in specific geographic areas as compared to tularaemia in the Czech Republic. Although both the diseases may occur together in some areas of the Czech Republic, the distribution including its environmental conditions is rather different.

Pro hodnocení a srovnání ekologických podmínek rozšíření tularémie a brucelózy zajíce polního byl použit geografický informační systém. Byla navržena nová proměnná (xt and b), tj. průměrný počet přírodních ohnisek v oblasti s danou charakteristikou. Zajíc polní je v ČR rezervoárem Francisella tularensis a Brucella suis biotype 2. Ve specifických oblastech ČR jsou přírodní ohniska brucelózy méně početná než př. ohniska tularemia. I když se obě ohniska mohou vyskytovat společně, jejich rozšíření v závislosti na podmínkách prostředí se liší.
