This study was arranged as a comparative testing of the dose-dependent compound 44Bu and 444 action on heart rate. The tested substances are derivates of arylcarbonyl-oxyaminopropanols and their difference consists in a different substituent on the molecule aliphatic chain. The heart rate change was tested on a model of isoprenaline-induced tachycardia in the form of an intravenous bolus in general anaesthesia. For monitoring of the heart rate the electrocardiograph SEIVA EKG Praktik with appropriate software was used. Bradycardic effect of these compounds was compared with the action of esmolol under the same experimental conditions.
