Original language description

We compared recombinant OB-Re-Fc protein to purified serum OB-Re in commercial ELISA method which uses the expression of OB-Re concentration in samples in U/ml. Serum OB-Re was purified by immunoaffinity chromatography; the purity and the protein concentration of OB-Re sample was found out in SDS PAGE and by BCA method. We determined that 1ng OB-Re corresponds to 1.37U OB-Re-Fc and so the unit U/ml can be replaced by newly introduced unit ng/ml.
