    On some identities for the Fibonomial coefficients

    The Fibonomial coefficients $fbinom{n}{k}$ are defined for positive integers $ngeq k$ as follows $$ fbinom{n}{k} = frac{F_n F_{n-1}dots F_{n-k+1}}{F_1 F_2dots F_k}~,$$ with $fbinom{n}{0}=1$, where the Fibonacci numbers are given by the recurrencerelation $F_{n+2}=F_{n+1}+F_{n}$, $F_0=0$, $F_1=1$. In this paper new identities for the Fibonomial coefficients are derived. These identities are related to the generating function of the $k$-th powers of the Fibonacci numbers. Their proofs are based ona reasonable manipulation with these generating functions.

    Fibonomiální coefficienty $fbinom{n}{k}$ jsou definovány pro přirozená čísla $ngeq k$ následovně $$ fbinom{n}{k} = frac{F_n F_{n-1}dots F_{n-k+1}}{F_1 F_2dots F_k}~,$$ with $fbinom{n}{0}=1$, kde Fibonacciova čísla jsou dána rekurencí $F_{n+2}=F_{n+1}+F_{n}$, $F_0=0$, $F_1=1$. Nové identity pro Fibonomiální koeficienty jsou odvozeny pomocí manipulace s vytvořující funkcí pro k-té mocniny Fibonacciových čísel.
