Self-Efficacy Concept as a Tool Reflecting Professional Development of Future Teachers
Original language description
The paper examines the potential of currently widely used concept of self-efficacy for the undergraduate secondary teacher training. The first part introduces the concept of self-efficacy and its usability. The other part also reflects the limits of the construct. The author concludes, that the concept of self-efficacy has a potential not only for the purpose of student evaluation but also as a source of incentives for intervention focused on removing gaps and doubts of students that had been found thanks to the measurement. More methods used for the need to depict a deeper and wider view into this issue are recommended.
