Curricular changes in the approach to science education call for new methods through all levels of the education system; the project-based approach is one of them. The students of the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science University of Hradec Kralove are exposed to its practical application within teaching the subject of Alternative school chemical experiments. Preparation and implementation of the student's project took place during the summer semester as seminar work. The aim of the project was to develop an eye-catching presentation of experiments that were conducted within the open-air event Let's Use our Heads to Play designed for promotion of science to society in June 2014.
