Potential roles for ubiquitin and the proteasome during ribosome biogenesis

  • Original language description

We have investigated the possible involvement of the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) in ribosome biogenesis. Our results suggest that the UPS is probably involved at many steps during ribosome biogenesis, including the maturation of the 90S preribosome

Možná funkce ubikvitinu a proteozomu v biogenezi ribozomů

  • Czech description

Zkoumali jsme vliv ubikvitin-proteasomového systému (UPS) při tvorbě ribosomů. Naše výsledky naznačují, že UPS pravděpodobně ovlivňuje mnoho kroků během biogeneze ribosomů, včetně vyzrávání 90S ribosomální podjednotky
