Adhesion and growth of human osteoblast-like cells on aliphatic polyesters with different chemical composition, surface roughness and modification with hydroxyapatite

  • Original language description

The effects of three groups of polymeric foils on the behavior of human MG 63 osteoblast-like cells were investigated. These included (1) poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) and a copolymer of L-lactide and trimethylene carbonate (PLTMC 50:50), (2) three samples madeof glycolide and epsilon-caprolactone copolymer (PGCap) with different surface roughness and topography, and finally (3) copolymer of glycolide with L-lactide (PGLA) with and without modification with hydroxyapatite deposits. On day 8 after seeding, thecell numbers on the tested symplex equaled with or even exceeded the values on control polystyrene dishes, especially on PGLA with hydroxyapatite deposits. The cells on the samples with the highest surface roughness were roundly shaped with relatively small adhesion area

Adhese a růst lidských buněk podobných osteoblastům na alifatických polyesterech s různým chemických složením, povrchovou drsností a modifikací hydroxyapatitem

  • Czech description

Byl zkoumán vliv tří skupin polymerních fólií na chování lidských osteoblastům podobných buněk linie MG 63. Skupiny fólií zahrnovaly (1) poly(L-laktid) (PLLA) a kopolymer L-laktidu a trimethylen karbonátu (PLTMC 50:50), (2) 3 skupiny kopolymerů glykolidua epsilon-kaprolaktonu (PGCap) s různou povrchovou drsností a (3) kopolymer glycolidu a L-laktidu (PGLA) čistého a s příměsí. hydroxyapatitu.
