The increase of choline acetyltransferase activity by docosahexaenoic acid in NG108-15 cells grown in serum-free medium is independent of its effect on cell growth
Original language description
Docosahexaenoic acid in seru-free medium supports growth of cholinergic NG108-15 cells and increases expression of choline acetyltransferase activity. Effect on cell growt saturates at lower concentration than that on choline acetyltransferase activity.Nevertheless the increase of choline acetyltransferase activity is apparent at physiological concentrations of docosahexaenoic acid
Czech name
Zvýšení aktivity cholinacetyltransferázy docosahexaenovou kyselinu u buněk NG108-15 pěstovaných v bezsérovém médiu nezávisí na jejím účinku na růst buněk
Czech description
Docosahexaenová kyselina podporuje růst cholinergních buněk NG108-15 v médiu bez séra a zvyšuje aktivitu cholinacetyltransferázy.
