The effects of pertussis toxin-treatment on integrated vasoactive response of vascular system in spontaneously hypertensive rats
Original language description
After pretreatment of SHR with PTX the hypotensive response to ACh was reduced in comparison to Wistar rats. Moreover, NA-induced pressor response was considerably decreased after PTX pretreatment compared to untreated SHR. The results suggested that theactivation of PTX-sensitive inhibitory Gi proteins is involved in the regulation of integrative vasoactive responses in SHR
