Positive allosteric modulator of mGluR7 AMN082 augmented cortical epileptic afterdischarges characterized by spike-and-wave rhythm in the EEG in all three studied age groups (rats 12, 18 and 25 days old). On the contrary, the second type of afterdischarges indicating spread of epileptic activity into limbic system in 25-day-old rats is suppressed by AMN082
