    Activation of GABA(B) receptors resulted in an anticonvulsant action in a model of cortical epileptic afterdischarges in three age groups of rats (12, 18 and 25 days old). Highest effect was seen in 12-day-old animals. The highest dose of CGP7930 used (40 mg/kg) compromised motor abilities of rats
