A Plan 9 port of CpG, a program to find clusters of CpG dinucleotides in GC rich regions of the genome called 'CpG islands' which frequently occur in the 5' ends of genes. Methylation of CpG islands plays a role in transcriptional silencing in higher organisms in certain situations. The program was ported by P. Čejchan to the Plan 9 Operating System from Bell Labs (Lucent). Source is ANSI-C and is free.
