Pd-Pt Catalysts on Mesoporous SiO2-Al2O3 with Superior Activity for HDS of 4,6-Dimethyldibenzothiophene: Effect of Metal Loading and Support Composition
Original language description
Mesoporous silica-aluminas were studied as supports of Pd-Pt catalysts in HDS of 4,6-DMDBT at 300oC and 5 MPa. HYD was the exclusive route of HDS and most of HDS activities correlated with Br?nsted acidities of catalysts. Pd-Pt catalysts at the lowest loadings around 0.10 wt.% were still 5 time more active than CoMo/Al2O3.
