Original language description
Effect of catalyst precursor and pretreatment on the content of Pd hydride and activity of Pd-Pt catalysts in HDS of thiophene and benzothiophene was studied. It was found that the precursor and pretreatment greatly affected the properties of catalysts.The most active samples were prepared from Pd acetate and Pt(NH3)4(OH)2. Correlation between HDS activity and the amount of Pd hydride was observed.
