Original language description
Electrophoretic mobilities and shapes of zones of sanguinarine and chelerythrine are affected by limited solubility of their uncharged forms and by the pH-dependent chemical equilibrium between cationic and uncharged forms of these alkaloids. Experimentswith the less soluble sanguinarine showed that its zone in a buffer have the shape of tailed peak with concentration-independent mobility if the injected sanguinarine concentration exceeds only slightly its solubility.

Czech description
Elektroforetické mobility a tvary zón sanguinarinu a chelerythrinu jsou ovlivněny omezenou mobilitou jejich nabitých forem a pH závislou chemickou rovnováhou mezi kationtovou a nenabitou formou těchto alkaloidů. Experimenty s méně rozpustným sanguinarinem ukázaly, že jeho zóna má tvar chvostujícího píku, jehož mobilita je koncentračně nezávislá, jestliže nastřikovaná koncentrace sanguinarinu jen mírně převyšuje jeho rozpustnost v použitém pufru.
