Autonomous capillary electrophoresis processing and analysis of dried blood spots for high-throughput determination of uric acid
Original language description
A new set-up for high-throughput and fully autonomous analyses of DBS samples was presented. A single off-the-shelf CE instrument served for executing all tasks of the analytical protocol. A fused silica capillary of the CE instrument was first used for accurate and precise liquid handling, DBS elution, and DBS eluate homogenization and subsequently, the same capillary (and the same CE instrument) was also used for selective determination of uric acid in the resulting eluate.
