    A comparison is made between the creep characteristics of the unreinforced squeeze-cast AZ91 and QE22 magnesium alloys and their hybrid composites reinforced with 7 vol.% short carbon fibres and 15 vol.% SiC particulares. A detailed microstructural evaluation of the materials was performed.

    Byly srovnávány vlastnosti tečení prostých hořčíkových slitin AZ91 a QE22 a jejich hybridních kompozitů se 7 obj.% krátkých uhlíkových vláken a 15 obj.% částic karbidu křemíku. Bylo provedeno detailní vyhodnocení mikrostruktury uváděných materiálů.
