Investigation of uncoated, non-conductive samples of intestinal parasite and wood-rotting basidiomycete mycelia were done at optimum electron energy of minimized charging - up phenomena. The equipment used is a conventional SEM fitted with the cathode lens enabling the adjustement of the electron landing energy with minimum realignment of the column.
