The submitted study provides a review of gender-related differences in coping and coping resources. It presents the definitions of core concepts in the field, and the ways of classifying of coping behavior.Provided gender differences in coping are presented for adolescent populatioon, and for adult population. The data of the own investigation focused on gender differences in health behaviours, and in stress-buffering factors are presented in the following part of the study.

Czech description
Studie poskytuje přehled rozdílů mezi muži a ženami ve zvládání stresogenních situací a ve zdrojích zvládání stresu. V práci jsou vymezeny klíčové pojmy a způsoby klasifikace zvládání stresu. V další části jsou popsány rozdíly mezi muži a ženami ve zvládání stresogenních situací u adolescentní a dospělé populace. Ve studii jsou presentována data z vlastního výzkumu zaměřeného na salutoprotektivní chování a salutoprotektivní faktory.
