Original language description

The symposium focuses on personality and social predictors of well-being and adjustment in key developmental stages: adolescence, middle adulthood and elderly age. Various aspects of well-being were examined in different cultural contexts and live settings. Two studies are based on life-span longitudinal data, one study on data from over 6,000 youth collected in six different cultural contexts, and one study on two samples of elderly population. Similar patterns of relationships, namely between personality and well-being, were identified across different developmental stages.
