Teachers’ attitudes toward bullying: What do we know and where do we go from here?

  • Original language description

Bullying at school is recognised as a serious and common problem around the world. This chapter reviews past research that has highlighted multiple factors that contribute to shaping teachers’ attitudes towards bullying. Many research questions are still far from being answered. Future studies should be devoted to expanding our knowledge of teachers’ behavioral responses to bullying and should also reveal the cultural factors that contribute to shaping them.
