The effect of exposure to different clastogens on the pattern of chromosomal aberrations detected by FISH whole chromosome painting in occupationally exposed individuals

  • Original language description

The pattern of chromosomal aberrations was studied by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) technique in workers occupationally exposed to any of the four following compounds: acrylonitrile, ethyl benzene, carcinogenic PAHs, and irradiation in nuclear power plants. The results indicate that different carcinogens may induce a different pattern of chromosomal aberrations.

Studium účinku expozice různým klastogenům na chromosomové aberace u profesionálně exponovaných osob s použitím metody FISH

  • Czech description

Typy chromosomových aberací byly studovány pomocí metody fluorescence in situ hybridizace (FISH) u osob profesionálně exponovaných některé z následujících látek: akrylonitrilu, etyl benzenu, karcinogenním PAU, nebo ozáření v provozu jaderné elektrárny. Výsledky naznačují, že různé karcinogeny mohou vyvolat různé typy chromosomových aberací.
