    The formation of total PAH (bulky) and B[a]P-DNA adducts following exposure of individuals to environmental air pollution in three metropolitan cities and the effect of endogenously derived oxidative DNA damage were studied. The influence of antioxidantstatus (A, E, C vitamins and folate levels) and susceptibility of individuals with regards to DNA damage was also investigated.

    Biomarkery oxidačního poškození DNA a jejich vztah k PAU-DNA aduktům, hladina antioxidantů a vnímavost po expozici environmentálnímu znečištění ovzduší

  • Czech description

    U osob ze tří hlavních měst exponovaných environmentálnímu znečištění ovzduší byla studována tvorba celkových PAU- a B[a]P-like DNA aduktů a vliv endogenně vyvolaného oxidačního poškození DNA. Také byl studován stav antioxidantů (hladiny vitaminů A, E, Ca folátů) a vnímavost jedinců k poškození DNA.
