Training school in Auditory Neuroscience, consisting of practical courses combined with laboratory visits and interaction with senior scientists, was held in Prague from 9 to 11 September, 2013. This school was focussed on modern methods used in auditoryneuroscience research such as anatomical and immunocytochemical methods for investigation of the central auditory system, recording of single and multiple unit activity and its processing, recording of evoked potentials, oto-acoustic emissions, calciumspikes with a two-photon confocal microscope, patch clamp technique and behavioral tests.
