Regulatory Effects of Mesenchymal Stem Cells on the Reactivity of T and B Lymphocytes
Original language description
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) represent a population of multipotent stem cells which possess extensive immunomodulatory properties. MSCs regulate functions of T and B lymphocytes by a production of various cytokines and growth factors. In general, MSCs suppress the development of pro-inflammatory cell populations and support activation and functions of regulatory T and B cells.
