Original language description
Synthesis, crystal structures and biological activities for the new chlorobridged mixed valence CuI/CuII coordination polymer [CuIIcyclam][CuICl3] 1 and [H4cyclam][Cu2 I Cl6] 2 are reported. Compound 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space groupPccn. Its crystal structure consists of one-dimensional polymer CuIIcyclam?Cl?CuI?Cl?CuIIcyclam. Compound 2 is monoclinic (P21/n)with the tetraprotonated cyclam H4cyclam(4+) in (3,4,3,4)-B conformation. Compound 1 was tested to understand its influenceon enzyme activity, immunomodulation as well as its toxicity and antiglycation potential. Its effect was significant as immunomodulatory and inhibitory activity against b-glucuronidase enzyme.
