In this paper, moisture diffusivity vs. moisture content relation of a carbon fiber reinforced cement composite is determined as function of thermal and mechanical load. The carbon fibers clearly exhibited a positive effect on the changes of the values of moisture diffusivity due to the thermal load and the combinations of mechanical and thermal load. The differences compared to the reference unloaded samples were significantly lower than those observed for cement mortar without any reinforcement
