Application of Ray Methods for Deformation Measurement
Original language description
There was shown a simply method for the deformation measurement of optically rough surfaces with ray methods. Optically rough surfaces are "smoothed" using the reflective foil that is affixed on test objects. The complete theoretical analysis of the raymethod was performed and several techniques of calculation of deformations were proposed. The advantage of the ray method with respect to interferometric methods is their relatively easy implementation in practice. The accuracy of the described ray method is comparable with the accuracy of common interferometric techniques and one can measure relatively extended surfaces
