We show that a strong solution u of the Navier-Stokes initial-boundary value problem which is in a certain sense bounded and integrable on the time interval (0,infinity) is stable with respect to small disturbances of the initial velocity in the norm induced by a fractional power of the Stokes operator and to small disturbances of the right hand side.
