Original language description
This paper deals with the description and implementation of algorithms used for a construction of a finite element mesh. First, the overview of numerical methods typically applied in fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems is given. In particular, particle finite element method is considered. Delaunay triangulation using Bowyer/Watson algorithm, which is able to generate high quality meshes, was chosen as a suitable meshing method. These algorithms are implemented in a finite element package OOFEM asa part of a fluid-structure interaction (FSI) solver. A meshing of a set of points is illustrated on a simple example.
