Summer Thermal Stability of Modern Wooden-framed Houses
Original language description
This paper presents results of numerical analysis aimed at three measures with possible positive effect on summer thermal comfort of modern wooden-framed buildings: (i) using clay plaster instead of traditional gypsum boards to increase internal heat capacity of the walls, (ii) using wood-fibres instead of mineral-fibres to increase the heat capacity of the walls, (iii) using double instead of single leaf external walls to lower the heat flow induced by solar radiation on the external surface.
