Original language description
Carbon nanofibers/nanotubes (CNT/CNF) seems to improve mechanical strength and fracture energy of cement-based composites. The effect of CNT/CNF length, amount and clustering was studied and analyzed. Cement with surface-synthesized carbon nanotubes/nanofibers (cement hybrid material - CHM) was used as a CNT/CNF source.
