Indoor Environmental Quality in Naturally Ventilated Office Building
Original language description
The paper deals with an indoor environment quality evaluation of old naturally ventilated office building in Prague, Czech Republic. Background research describes indoor climate components and their influence on occupants, describes indoor climate evaluation methods and summarizes required indoor climate parameter value limits. Field work was focused on a measurement of indoor environment parameters in one office buildings. Measured values were evaluated and PMV and PPD indices were calculated. Indicesvalues were used for evaluating indoor environment according to the standard ČSN EN ISO 7730. Next part of research included an indoor environment quality questionnaire taken from occupant subjective perspective. The office evaluation was done accordingto a thermal comfort of the body as whole and local thermal discomfort.
