    Stabilita spojitého ocelobetonového mostního nosníku

  • Original language description

One of the main tasks concerning continuous composite I-sectioned bridge design is to prove stability in hogging bending regions. For slender beams with continuously supported upper flange lateral distortional buckling usually occurs. There is no analytical solution for this type of buckling, because the cross-section does not remain rigid but the web distorts. Usually lateral buckling of composite girders is solved using the inverted U-frame model approach, but it has many inaccuracies. Author would like to research this phenomenon using finite element model. A parametrical study and a design procedure suggestion should be the output of this study.
