    Stabilita spojitého ocelobetonového mostního nosníku

  • Original language description

This paper is focused on composite bridges consisting of several parallel I beams connected to a concrete deck. One of the main tasks for this kind of structure is to assure stability. Lateral buckling can occur in the hogging bending regions over the inner support. The mode of buckling is not lateral torsional, because the section web distorts. The phenomenon is usually called lateral distortional buckling (LDB). Because there is no analytical solution for this kind of buckling, the inverted U-frame method is commonly used for approximation. This method has been continuously improved, but still a better precision should be gained. There is a parametrical study on a model of composite bridge girders developing by Author and some preliminary results arediscussed in this paper.
