Situation around transport constructions are very important topic of discussion in Czech public at the moment. The citizens are considerable unsatisfied with the quality and cost of construction new sections and reconstructions of the existing infrastructure. The article deals with the implementation of a set of tools, which are included in the portfolio of facility management for transport infrastructure. Targets of the set of tools are optimizing costs in the life cycle of building. From design to destruction. Increasing the effectiveness of spending on transport construction is necessary, because public funds spend billions Czech crowns for the construction and reconstruction every year.
