Parametric Study of Crack Pattern Propagation of Concrete Members
Original language description
A drop-hammer experiment was performed during 2014 and 2015. The Parametric study of impact performance of plain concrete samples shows an influence of variable burden weight and velocity on the crack pattern. The velocity of impacting burden has a major effect on the crack pattern of the concrete sample, as the tenfold change of velocity value induces a change of the crack pattern type.
