Virtual reality is a global phenomenon of the recent years. This technology became more available, due to the introduction of home virtual reality systems. Today we can find a lot of implementations of this technology into new fields of research and education should not be behind. It offers new ways of interaction between students and building information models. This paper is presenting solution how to facilitate such an interaction. It explains all the steps and reasoning behind designing virtual reality laboratory. In the second part paper also suggest possible student assignment, in order to simulate possible real application.
