Identification of Assets of Metro Operation in Prague and Determination of Their Criticality
Original language description
For ensuring the safe operation of technical objects and their parts, it is important firstly to identify the assets, their importance and vulnerability against critical disasters, which endanger the object, and after that it is important to determine the criticality that is based on assessment of previous outcomes. On the basis of current knowledge and experiences it is needed to focus on priority risks and assets with the highest criticality. Because, the real objects are so complex and there are various uncertainties and ambiguities in their behavior at big disasters, it is needed to use expert methods for determination of critical assets. It is necessary to interpret outcomes in correct way and select such communication technologies that ensure the highest information power (performance) in order to ensure the correct decision making and next proceeding the outcomes. Current knowledge, methods and tools allow to ensure the safety of technical objects at certain level, but due to continuous technologies developing, demands on interfaces among systems and operating subjects increase. The main target of the work is establishing and assessment of methods for identification and work with assets of technical objects based on the use case, i.e. for safe operation of urban guided transportation – metro operation in Prague.
