  • Original language description

This article presents the preparatory phase of a research project focused on analyzing the behavior of a steel frame structure of a storage hall with trapezoidal sheet cladding in the event of a fire. It describes the specific building, the designed fire scenario with a defined fuel load, and the methodology of numerical modeling using a zone model in the CFAST program. A key aspect of the study is the consideration of radiation effects and the planned verification of the model results through a largescale fire test. The objective of the project is to obtain detailed insights into the temperature field and mechanical response of the structure, with emphasis on quantifying the stabilizing contribution of the trapezoidal sheet cladding to the overall behavior of the frame at elevated temperatures. The results will contribute to a better understanding of the interaction between the steel load-bearing structure and the cladding during a fire and to the optimization of design methods.
