State of just off-bottom particle suspension was often determined visually based on observation of the particles sediment at the bottom by classical Zwietering's concept [1]. Accuracy of visual observation of particle layer sediment on the vessel bottomdepends on subjective experience of experimenter. This visual method is very simple but it is often difficult to apply or inapplicable e.g. for badly transparent, non-transparent or highly concentrated suspensions. This disadvantage is possible to removeby a new application of the electrochemical method for observation of particle layer sediment on the vessel bottom and for identifying the state of just off-bottom particle suspension. Similar concept of particle layer sediment observation was used by Mak et all but these authors used the Ultra-sonic Doppler Flowmeter (ultrasonic probe at the vessel bottom). Other direct and indirect methods for identification of just off-bottom particle suspension state were compared by Rieger and Dit.
