    Description of Discharge Stream from Standard Rushton Turbine Impeller

  • Original language description

    Three independent procedures for description of the flow of angular momentum from the standard Rushton turbine impeller in fully baffled cylindrical vessel filled by Newtonian liquid under its turbulent regime of flow are described: 1.Theoretical approach of the axially symmetrical tangential jet, 2. Experimentally determined part of the momentun in the interference region of the discharge flow and baffles and 3. CFD approach resulting in description of the mean velocity flow field in the discharge stream. All the methods mentioned give the same results with respect their experimental or computational accuracy.
