    Yeast Candida Utilis Population Dynamics Stochastic Model Optimization

    Simulation of the probability density dynamics of a yeast microbial culture is studied by use of a stochastic approach. The population balance of microbial cultures is often formulated as a deterministic process described by a system of partial integral-differential equations. Unfortunately, solution of such a system is possible only for the simplest cases. Yeast culture does not satisfy the condition of binary fission but new offspring originates in the spring up process, as the mother cell splits intotwo considerably different daughter cells that is the size-dependent phenomenon. The stochastic model using Markov chain including the growth, splitting and death of yeast was proposed, solved and optimized.This theory is used to model the probability density evolution of yeasts as function of their size.
