    The new cooling circuit is located at H8 in Bldg. 887 in Prévessin, CERN and it has been prepared for parallel commissioning up to three Roman Pot (RP) in January 2010. Its primary purpose is to provide a widely adjustable cooling circuit for developmentand commissioning of the Roman Pot (RP) detectors of the CERN TOTEM Experiment. It has a two-stage compressor-condenser unit using a fluorinert refrigerant R218. The heat is wasted through air cooling and a supporting water circuit using a Chiller unit.The circuit is capable of reaching up to 13 [bara] liquid line pressure and up to 2.2 [bara] back pressure and flow up to 8 g/s. The cooling process (pressure and back-pressure) can be controlled manually or automatically. A large number of tuning parameters guarantee a very wide scale of operation.
