Analysis of a Stationary Viscous Incompressible Flow through a Cascade of Profiles with a Large Inflow
Original language description
The paper deals with the analysis of the model of stationary incompressible viscous flow through a plane cascade of profiles. The problem is formulated in a bounded domain, representing one one spatial period of the profile cascade, with suitable boundary conditions on the boundary. We suppose that the geometry of the cascade enables us to choose the considered domain as a rectangle - see Fig. 1. We do not need any condition of smallness of the inflow velocity or the condition of smallness of fluxes between the the upper and lower sides of the considered rectangle. The possibility of a large inflow is, however, compensated by certain modification of the usual artificial boundary condition on the outflow. We provide the weak formulation of the problem and we prove the existence of a weak solution.
