    Manners of parallelization in multibody dynamics

  • Original language description

    This paper deals with the approaches suitable for parallel computing in multibody dynamics. Two parallel approaches are described and their advantages and disadvantages are presented. The first one uses the replacement of common rigid joints by spring and dampers. Its computational complexity is in an ideal case independent on the system size. The second method works with an idea to solve a system of linear equations like a searching of a steady state in dynamical system. This method can be independenton system size. Several simple examples of application of these two methods are presented here.
