Original language description
Mathematical modelling of technological problems is a usefull tool for problem analysis and for control solutions design. However, a real plant control brings problems which are not apparent during the theoretical solution, but have to be resolved in order to implement the ideas on real technological problems. In order to support the education of such techniques authors constructed low-cost stepper motor driven inverted pendulum. The acquired experiences helped to design and contruct a new plant, pneumatic cylinder driven inverted pendulum/crane for educational and research purposes.
